Your Car And Your Girl
.::eliza::. replied to esie one five's topic in Nissan Silvia (nissansilvia.com)
I don't have an issue with the cars or the driving... but thinking about the money spent on mods makes me go ! But imports are my partner's passion, so I just sigh and let him... and once he's finished modifying his car... he can start on mine ! -
Congrats to Donny aka street-forced and his gf Sarah

Congrats on the baby ! She looks adorable ! Got the Recaro baby seat yet ? I hope bub's mum is doing well and didn't need stitches... and in a year's time she'll have forgotten the pain so you can start planning for the next baby ! -
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels...

If you have a good importer and some luck, you might be able to pick up a cheap NA R34 sedan for that price... depends on what you really want though... coupe or sedan...

i need a bday present that has to do with cars....HELP!

I don't know about you, but if I'm buying a gauge, the first priority is getting one that is accurate. Looks is secondary. I don't think Defi or HKS gauges change colour though... -
I'm probably more afraid of someone giving me a "do I know you ?" look...

I'm too shy to wave !

that's why I suggested a photo shoot. You can get some great photos and have them framed. So even when he sells his car, he'll still have something to remind him of the car and the girlfriend who organised it all for him. It's not too girly and shows that she understands how much his car means to him. -

If he really loves his car, might be worth paying someone money to detail his car and then organising a car photoshoot... -
hehehe... thought my partner would enjoy watching the series, so I've already found the 4 episodes for him...

Anything distinctive about the car ? Will keep an eye out...

How big is the beauty bed ? Is there other stuff you need to pack into the car as well ? The Aristo boot should be plenty of space. The Chaser boot is a little bit smaller... I guess it all comes down to which shape you like.
-
Have you checked out a Caldina yet ? Or a Legnum ? They're pretty hot looking cars... and you won't have issues fitting your beauty bed in there. Fuel is always going to be an issue with sports cars - especially if you love your car and use the highest octane fuel available too...

Specs for JZX100: Exterior dimensions (LxWxH): mm 4715 x 1755 x 1400 Interior dimensions (LxWxH): mm 1990 x 1475 x 1165 Wheel base: mm 2730 Curb vehicle weight: kg 1480 Specs for JZX90: Exterior dimensions (LxWxH): mm 4750 x 1750 x 1390 Interior dimensions (LxWxH): mm 1990 x 1475 x 1155 Wheel base: mm 2730 Curb vehicle weight: kg 1450 Specs of Aristo: Exterior dimensions (LxWxH): mm 4920 x 1795 x 1420 Interior dimensions (LxWxH): mm 2005 x 1535 x 1150 Wheel base: mm 2780 I'm only 2 inches taller than you, but I don't have any problems driving the Aristo. The boot space is pretty big. Only issue (and it will be an issue with sports cars) is fuel. The tank in the Aristo is 80 litres. I get probably around 450kms out of a full tank. You do get plenty of power and the car is very luxurious... the air purifier is great too if you have to have pets in the car. How big is the beauty bed ? Perhaps consider the Caldina or the Legnum as the seats can fold down to fit the beauty bed.

Sorry to hear that you have had so many problems with the car. I haven't had any battery issues with my Aristo (touch wood) so hopefully you'll be able to find out what the problem is and smooth sailing from that point onwards.

Funny how guys seem to love the show, but girls in some other forums I checked out are saying the show is crap !

You can see her struggling to get an idea out... and then she goes off on her little tangent about South Africa and Iraq...

Celsior Vs Infiniti! - which and why?
.::eliza::. replied to Bazelinez's topic in Nissan Silvia (nissansilvia.com)
Inifinitis are nice... but consider the Chaser or even the Aristo... I love my Aristo... sure, it's auto, but it still goes like anything ! -
Because everyone loves a little bit of booty !

How to remove broken key?
.::eliza::. replied to arope99's topic in Nissan Silvia (nissansilvia.com)
Put a tiny amount of super glue on the end of your key... give it a couple of seconds to air dry and then stick it in the way it should go into the ignition. Make sure you align it properly or else your key is going to look funny. Give it a couple of mins for the glue to harden and then gently try to get your key out. Personally, I haven't tried this... but I read it in a book of household hints ! Good luck. -
