  1. Im after a new wallet

It adds up so quickly. Shoes, Jeans, Undies, Shirt, Jacket, bling/watch/chain/ring if you wear it = $500 easy. Ive only got 3 suits at the moment, bout to start expanding. Lookin good and working hard = moneyz Geez where do you work that you need 3 x $2500 suits? $500 for clubbing seems a bit low considering a good pair of jeans is around 300-400 $400 bucks for jeans!!? Wtf nobody can tell if your jeans are Armani or D&G... Just get some Levis or Mossimo or something for $100 and keep the change.. This thread does not come in men's. Each to their own... I work very hard so that I can enjoy nice things, I figure I cant take it with me so I may aswell enjoy it while i can.
  2. Im after a new wallet

And I suppose you're somewhat of an authority on what a good wallet is? Please enlighten us all.
  3. Im after a new wallet

they arn't all $2.5k suits and its not needed, but if you have clients who wants to spend $100+k at your work, you want to look the goods. $2.5k easily, suit, shirt, jacket, shoes, cufflinks, tie/s .. people dont realise how much worth they walk around with. (especially if you get brand names, + bags/phones/cash in wallet)I bet average business person in sydney CBD would have about 3k on them. And as you said, $500 outfit for clubbing is easy to do. Either way im still looking for a sweet wallet. Hang on, i thought you were talking about clothing before? Now your saying your including your man bag, watch, mobile, cash...etc into the 2.5k? So if the average person in Syd walks around with 3k, and your only wearing 2.5k maybe you don't need a business wallet after all? But hey what do I know :-p

I think I must be out of the trendy dude loop because wtf is a business wallet? And how on earth do you wear 2.5k in clothing when you go out clubbing?

  9. I too find it interesting that so many members are quick to judge others about what they choose to spend on there loved ones. Each to there own I say, if you can afford it then go for it.

  11. The New Sex Symbol

Maybe your girlfriend prefers skinny guys? or maybe you are getting fat? Just 2 of the many possible options.
  12. Contemplating What To Do For A Career

So what did this guy end up getting into? Anyone know? HECS is definetly worth it. For what you end up paying for your degree, it pales in comparison compared to what you can earn if you work hard and more importantly smart. Like Jonas said, you barely notice it at the start, but as you earn more it starts to hurt a bit. But again you probably wouldn't be in the position to earn serious coin without it. Do something you enjoy and the money will follow.
  13. EASTER STRONGMAN 2010

Some sort of rope pulling event would be cool
  14. m&m's place

Lucky For SIR-SR he wasn't asking you
  15. Project Management

No, I am not a PM. Maybe further down the track after I have a few more years experience I might entertain the thought. Please note the above wages I mentioned are only relevant for Big Corporates, so if you plan on working for a medium or small size businesses you would need to re-calibrate to suit. Oh and GFUNK, that person who only works 3 months of the year, is that by choice or because the company only allocates the funding for that much in their budget? Because if it is the latter that is definetly not the same as an actual 200k job.
